I have this 1971 Honda SL175 barn find up for sale. When I got the bike the gas tank still held the remnants of gasoline left in it. The bike had 1978 tags on it. Fortunately whoever parked the bike disconnected the fuel line from the tank to the carbs so the carbs were clean. I purchased a clean used tank off E Bay and put in a new battery and the bike runs like a charm. I've ridden the bike about 300 miles since I got it and it is now showing about 900 miles on the odometer. The bike does have some surface rust and some chrome is peeling. I also purchased the right side cover as it was missing from the bike. I painted it with the closest color I could find to match the other side cover. It still needs the SL175 emblem. This bike can be ridden as is or it would be a good candidate for a restoration. I have a clear title and I will crate the bike and take it to a shipper (It would be delivered COD so that the buyer paid shipping when they pick it up at the nearest freight terminal) for a fee.
