Vehicle Detail
This is a 2004 Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa (also known as the 4200) with only 39k miles. It has been serviced at Ferrari/Maserati of Manhattan it's entire life and it's in perfect mechanical condition with all services completed. This car has the Cambiocorsa package with the Ferrari Formula 1 inspired electrohydraulic paddle shifted transmission. It also has a beautiful black leather interior with everything covered in leather, including the headliner. The back seat is even large enough to fit two adults. This is a VERY RARE car. Based around the Ferrari F430 engine and built by Ferrari, the Maserati 4200 Coupe Cambiocorsa is more rare than the Ferrari F360 or F430 with only 509 sold in the US in 2004 and <2000 sold over the life of this model. OWN A FERRARI BUILT V8 sports car for less money than a Toyota Camry!!! ~400HP at 7000RPM! I bought this car for the sound alone. It is fitted with a $3,000 Larini exhaust. Check out some youtube videos of Maserati and Larini, and you will hear why. I also have the original exhaust which will come with the car. It is a simple bolt on piece that can be swapped in 20 minutes, but I recommend leaving it as is. Larini specializes in releasing the Ferrari sound from the engine, as Maserati tones it down a bit with the stock exhaust. Aside from the upgraded exhaust note, the car is completely stock and Ferrari/Maserati dealer serviced. And of course the original exhaust is in perfect condition and comes with the car. The car has some imperfections that are expected for a 14 year old vehicle and all are highlighted in the photos, but I will list them here. There is a paint ding that has been touched up on the front driver wheel well. Some scrubbing of the paint on the wheels is evident from the previous owner brushing a few curbs. Some of the interior switches have worn paint (an issue common on all Ferrari and Maserati products of the era). I list these items for full disclosure, because aside from these minor things, the car is in perfect condition! The car has been garaged its whole life.
