Vehicle Detail
1973 CB 450 Honda (Not a show bike.. but a bike to show off!) Ok, Maybe I am being partial here, but I did try to take as many accurate photo's as possible so you can get a good true perception of this bike. I have owned this bike for some time now, and each season I try to improve it a bit more. She runs like a scared rabbit! And shows off well too! But please look at the photo's carefully. This bike is a great attention getter. Over all condition of this bike would be very nice. She has a little rust on the chrome, an a small ding on the gas tank. (see picture) It was really hard to photo, but I wanted you to see it.Exhaust is original and in excellent condition. Right side had a minor repair which you have to lay under the bike to find. Unfortunately, this is one of those toys that I would love to keep, but at this time I just don't have the space. This bike doesn't leak anything! Starts right up, and performs just like it is supposed to.Rides smooth, shifts well in all gears.Handles exceptionally well. Everything works well with the exception of the horn, (which worked last year)Mileage may be original, but the last owner felt there may be a discrepancy so I will pass that on.Tachometer sticks a bit, but improves after some riding.Wheels and rims look pretty typical for a bike this age. Tires have ok tread but some dry rot.New Battery. A $250.00 Deposit to be paid with paypal within 8 hrs. of winning. This secures a binding contract between you and I.Failure to make this payment will prompt a bad Ebay rating from me, and may exclude you from other auctions.Remainder of payment to be in cash upon pick up of this bike.If you wish to ship that's fine, but you will need of course to coordinate who and associated costs. Good luck on the auction, and happy bidding! On Mar-16-18 at 14:15:28 PDT, seller added the following information: Hi Guys, I have had a lot of questions about last time bike was started, last time it was ridden etc.So, I got home from work and put some fresh gas in it. (I had everything drained for winter storage)She started right up, very little choke. After about 1 minute, I cut the choke, and she idled right down to about 1100 to 1200 rpm.(just like it is supposed to)as mentioned earlier, the tach stuck a bit in cold weather. Well... no sticking! Then I remembered I shot some WD40 in the cable housing before putting her away!Sorry, and Happy to say I did not ride her.It is currently 33 Degrees in Berea Ohio. You can ride it when you get it though, hopefully on a warmer dayregards, and Happy Bidding!
