1985 Fiero GT, READ CAREFULLY, Car is running but has an engine knock, it has been diagnosed by my local mechanic as a rod knock. Has the original V-6 engine and manual 4 speed transmission. We bought the car 5 years ago out of Virginia after not finding the V-6 with manual trans locally. It has been a great car but with the engine issue looming, its time to let someone take over and rebuild/replace this engine. It runs well enough that it can easily be loaded on a car hauler or transport. Car is sold ''AS-IS" with no guarantee. IT NEEDS AN ENGINE!!!! Everything else is working on this 32 year old vehicle. One of the headlights sticks every now and then and must be pushed down. Note the screwdriver in the truck lock. That came with it when we bought it, but we were not told about that, so I list it here and show that picture. I found a rebuilt engine for $1200 and have toyed with doing the exchange, but hopefully someone with more time can tackle this project.
