I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2009 Smart ForTwo Brabus. I would rate the exterior of this coupe to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking car. It is finished in Silver Metallic over Black, which is a good color combination. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior. The silver finish shines nicely and looks as smooth as glass all around. All of the trim and cladding is intact and shows well. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gates all open and close easily. The staggered alloy wheels are specific to the Brabus option package and show well. Tire tread is average all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Smart ForTwo Brabus came in. I would rate the interior of this Smart car to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The seats are clean and comfortable. Both front seats are heated. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well but it's too cold to verify that the air conditioner is working properly. The panoramic roof is intact and gives the interior an open feel. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this coupe came in. Mechanically, this Smart Brabus coupe appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.0L three cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering, braking and handling all feel good. The engine keeps proper temperature and feels strong. I've owned a few Smart cars before but this is by first Brabus, and I can tell a big difference. It revs out much more freely and is noticeably faster than your basic Smart car. This little thing is a blast to drive. The check engine light was on when I got this car in. The code is a TCM code. The only issue I see is that the car will not engage "park". I just leave it in neutral and pull the parking brake. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly with zero issues.
