My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 80+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban LT 4x4 with the Southern Comfort Ultimate Conversion package. I would rate the exterior of this Suburban to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age. I will start off by saying that this is one good looking Suburban. It is finished in dark blue over gray leather interior. The finish shows well for its age and has a nice shine all around. What really sets this truck apart is the graphics that wrap around the power portion of the truck and the side cladding with integrated fender flares, lighted running boards and body extensions to make the body flush with the bumpers. In my opinion, this is how every Suburban of this generation should look. What is most impressive about this truck is that, in spite of its age, all of the bodywork is intact and actually really nice. The graphics show well and are not faded, which indicates that this Suburban most likely was stored in a garage when not in use. The only rust I saw on the body was a few bubbles around the key hole on the tail gate, which is common on these...and far less rust than I'm used to seeing on a Suburban of this age. The underside is clean, too. The body lines are all nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels have been upgraded to a nice looking set of chrome wheels wrapped in nice rubber. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Suburban to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. You can see some visible wear on the passenger's grab bar. The carpets are dirty and would benefit from a good cleaning, which is normal for an older Suburban. As you can see, there is also visible wear on the front seats, which is very common at this age. Both front seats are power operated and heated...and comfortable. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The dark wood interior accents give the cabin a warm feel. The audio system is original and sounds good. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. There is also rear heating and air conditioning. This Suburban also has a rear passenger DVD entertainment system. Access to the 3rd row of seating is simple and there is plenty of room in every row of seats. Cargo room behind the 3rd row is ample. When needed, the 3rd row can easily be removed to open up a generous amount of storage space. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Suburban appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.3L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older truck. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. You do get a little play in the front end, but nothing horrible for an older truck. The engine keeps good oil pressure and keeps proper temperature. Aside from an airbag light, there have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The engine feels smooth and makes good power. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally with no issues. The push button 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. If you're looking for a solid older Suburban, this custom K1500 would be a good pick. I want to take a second to address the "999,999" mileage in the listing. The odometer in this truck shows 140k mileage and everything I can find from when I bought it says the same. However, the title I have shows 246k miles...and I have no idea what to make of it. Around the end of the year, I buy up probably 100 vehicles or so for when I start selling again the following year and then I basically disappear for 2 months. In that time, do the holidays, go on vacation, etc. Then I stay in my warehouse (trying to keep warm) and process all the cars I bought. I end up with a 2-3 inch high stack of titles that I go through (from vehicles purchased out of state) and take to PennDOT to have turned into PA titles, as required by law. I just blow through these titles and take a handful up to PennDOT every week or so (new titles cost me $53/ea...times 100+ titles). I'm guessing I made an error and wrote down the wrong mileage when shuffling through the stacks and stacks of titles. Be that as it may, the title now shows 246k and I can't undo it even if it's wrong. You should buy this truck on it's physical and mechanical condition and not rely solely on either the mileage on the title or the odometer as I cannot look you in the eye and tell you that either one is right or wrong. By Federal law, vehicles more than 10 years old are exempt from odometer disclosure. When you buy this truck and get the title, the mileage will read "EXEMPT" anyway.
