My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 80+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2009 Volvo XC90 AWD. The XC90 has quickly become one of my favorite SUV's. The XC90 gives you the safety and luxury you have come to expect from a Volvo with a surprising amount of room and versatility. I would rate the exterior of this XC90 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in black over tan leather interior behind professionally tinted windows. The black finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find much worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Volvo. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gates all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age. The front tires are pretty worn and should be replaced in the very near future. I'd also recommend an alignment at that time to make sure the new tires wear evenly in the future. All in all, this is a beautiful truck. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean it looks. I would also rate the interior of this XC90 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets show well for their age and are full looking throughout the interior. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. This is a pretty well optioned XC90. It has factory GPS navigation, which appears to be working properly, as well as a factory pack up camera with parking assist. The audio system is original and sounds good. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. This XC90 also has the optional rear passenger entertainment package with dual monitors installed in the headrests. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It is too cold outside to confirm that the air conditioner is cooling effectively but everything appears to be in order. The heater works well. Access to the 3rd row of seating is simple and there is an impressive amount of room for an SUV of this size. When not in use, the 3rd row folds flat to open up an impressive amount of cargo area. My only complaint with the interior is that the one seat cushion in the 3rd row appears to be off it's track so it doesn't retract properly. I've spent literally 5 seconds fiddling with it and moved on. I'm sure it's something stupid, I just don't have time to mess with it. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this XC90 looks. Mechanically, this XC90 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.2L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older truck. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. I notice a slight pull in the steering, which would explain the aforementioned worn front tires. A front end alignment and a new pair of tires up front should take care of both of those issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There are a few idiot lights on. I believe it is the skid control and the check engine light. The skid control was always on. The check engine light came on one day while I was driving it. I tried to retrieve the code but my scan tool often has trouble communicating with Volvo's...and this was one it won't communicate with, for some reason, so I cannot tell you which code is present like I normally do. I don't see any driving issues, though. I've personally put at least 200 miles on this XC90 with zero issues and I would drive it anywhere. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shift properly with no problems. The AWD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints...aside from the previously mentioned pull in the steering. If you're looking for a well optioned and capable SUV, this 2009 XC90 deserves your careful consideration. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. If paying by Bank Check or Bank Wire Transfer, funds must clear before your vehicle is available for release. We Do Not Accept PayPal or Credit Cards...at all...period. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction.
