Very good 1951 Ford Custom Deluxe. Everything works, even the radio and wipers, except the clock. Ford Maroon with grey interior all original matching. Very well restored from a no-rust, no patches, no hit, no fillers original car. Straight on all sides, very true body joints and gaps. Excellent chrome, rubber and trim. Very good paint. Original glass. Chassis looks as clean as the body and interior. Interior is clean, tight and in excellent condition - no rips or tears. Original flat-head engine and drive-train - 3spd. Runs shifts and stops as new. Great touring, cruising car. Easy driving and comfortable. Will cruise at 70. Never overheats. I have known this local car for 15 years and owned it for 6 years. Always a favorite at shows. Only three none original items are fog lights, duel exhaust and carpeted front - would have been rubber from the factory. Also a rear window stop light for safety. I have approx. $2,000 in spare parts purchased thru the years from the former owner, but never used, that go with the car. Service and glove-box manuals, jack go with the car. This is just a very good antique car and an inexpensive way to enjoy the hobby. There are lots of 51's out there, but few that are this good. There are no issues at all with this car - None. You will not be disappointed. All this 51 Ford needs is a driver. The reason I'm selling it is I need the space for a couple new additions. There is no warranty with this car but inspections are welcome. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and transport costs from owner's residence - also transfer fees, taxes.
