Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1927 Ford model T roadster pickup. I built this truck with a lot of help from my friends at Bad Donkee hotrods in littlestown Pa over the course of 10 years. It has a custom frame built out of 2x4 tubing and suspension from mid 30’s ford cars both front and back with a banjo rear. A 1955 ford Y block 292 with 3x2 off intake and ford 94 carbs runs through custom headers. The transmission is a 3 speed over drive out of a mid 90s f150. The rear axle ratio is 4.11 and with the progressive linkage on the carbs and overdrive i have seen 20+ mpg on the highway not that it really matters. The 10 gallon gas tank sits in the bed on top of old pine floor boards i pulled from farm house and refinished. The floor hinges up behind the tank to access the battery and a storage compartment. The interior was done by evolution creatives in hampstead MD and is complete with brass accents and leather floors. The steering wheel is an original fat man wheel from the 30’s and makes for. Much easier access into the seat.. Truck is a blast to drive and gets tons of looks everywhere it goes. The cab was stretched around 4” but it is still a tight fit. I am 5’ 10” and fit comfortably. The last big trip i took in it was 2 hours one way on the highway at about 70 mph most of the way, an It performed great. When we first finished the truck it went out to Detroit autorama and won best traditional pickup in 2015. It was shot for both hop up magazine and hot rod magazine who both ran internet articles on it. Traditional rod. And Kulture also did a shoot for the truck and put it in issue #43 of the magazine. Photos and story were done by spike and he did an amazing job. I’m sure there is so much more i am forgetting and if you have any questions feel free to ask and i will be happy to answer them.
