I am the second owner of this Interceptor that I purchased around 1991. About 6 years after buying it, I bought a 1000cc Yamaha. I planned to restore this one, but it never happened. It ran great when I pulled the plugs and fogged the cylinders before I parked it in the corner of the garage about 20 years ago. The only problem it had then was that I needed to replace the clutch because it slipped a little. Many years later when I pulled the tarp off I saw that brake and clutch fluid had somehow come out of the reservoirs on the handlebars, and that fluid hurt the paint on the upper fairing as you can see. I pulled the fairing and did the base coat on the left side but stopped there because I realized the best idea was to buy a new fairing since the candy apple was not the perfect tint. It was a great bike that I wish I had time to restore, but instead I want to sell it to someone who wants to restore it.
