RARE 1986 RED WHITE BLUE HONDA NIGHTHAWK CB700SC The four-cylinder engine features double overhead cams, with hydraulic lifters which eliminated valve adjustments. The exhaust was a four-into-two finished in black chrome. The engine layout was the same as the 650 Nighthawk's, but of a different design sharing no parts. The bike also features shaft drive, electronic ignition, a digital gear indicator, an automatic cam chain adjuster, a spin-on automobile-style oil filter, and Honda’s second-generation TRAC (Torque Reactive Anti-dive Control) front end control system. Tire size in both front and rear is 16 inches. Brakes were double disc in front, drum in rear. This bike is in good shape with only 13,051 mi and looks to be complete. It was previously registered in California, and appears to have been stored indoors for the majority of its life. However it is a used bike and does have a few minor cosmetic defects(small dent and some light scratching in gas tank). Original Honda seat cover has some cracks. Tires still have approximately half tread and appear to be original as well. Bike is currently not running and has some vacuum and fuel hoses disconnected. Carbs partially installed, but are not fastened in. New gas cap and ignition switch with 2 keys for each also has a brand new old stock Honda petcock. Old parts and extra pieces will be included in sale.
