NO RESERVE AUCTION OR BUY IT NOW FOR $15,500 1965 Chevy II Nova SS, a true Super Sport that is in overall good to very good driver condition.Real SS with 117xxxx VIN, was originally 6 cylinder / power glide carIncredibly straight and generally original condition overall. The power front disc brakes, 327 V-8 and turbo 350 transmission where swapped in years ago. Getting difficult to find in this condition, never mind the fact this is a true SS car. Non original color paint and interior where done in the early 90's and is starting to show some age. All factory original body panels, floors and rockers. Body is very straight and solid with no significant issues, zero rot in this car! The underside of the car is in exceptional shape, undamaged and rust free floors, inner structure and chassis. The hood on the car is not original although the original SS hood is included in the sale, a little rough but most definitely fixable. Trim is in very good condition although I am missing the small right quarter piece and the rear window trim. (available aftermarket)Wiring, switches, fuse block electrical sockets are all in good unmolested condition. All lights, turn signals, horn, wipers and speedometer work as they should. Sun tachometer, oil pressure, volt and temp gauges.The healthy running 327 has a nice chop to the idle, full Mallory ignition, Edelbrock carb, Holley intake, headers and 2 1/2" exhaust exiting behind rear tires. The VIN shows 117375N182542 which is for a SS L6 and the cowl tag shows 65-11837 which is a SS V8. This information is easy to access on sites such as NovaResource and Stevesnovasite I have tried to attach the links but can not due to e-bay listing rules. Please do research for yourself as to what the cowl codes indicate what, actually some pretty interesting facts in there. Here is one quote about the cowl tag info. "The 2nd line contains the year, body style number and assembly plant info. The body style tag on the cowl is typically in a V8 format, even if the car came with an L6 engine."
