Vehicle Detail
The steering is tight, and the brakes are solid. Now for the things we see. The glass is excellent, one small chip in the windshield about ¼ inch around. The interior appears to be all original and in excellent shape. The grill is missing, and we could not find it in the warehouse. We don’t know why it is out of the car other than he was going to replace it, speculating that it was cracking do to age? One of our guys had a '70 Torino years ago and said the fins crack, who knows. The hideaway actuator is all there and still functions when you pull the head light switch. All the gauges work, interior and outside lights. The original hitch is still on the car as shown in the Marti Report. I don’t know what else we can tell you about the car. If you would like to come out or send a third party out to look at the car your sure welcome or if you have any questions feel free to e-mail us and we will get right back with you. The Marti Report states that this is one of 49 Cars built with this engine and transmission codes. I would think this is one extremely rare car considering there probably is only a hand full of '71 Squire 429 Cobra Jets that are still on the road today.. Attention: We have sold several vehicles over the last 15 years with e-bay and has always went smoothly. We had a buyer a few days ago purchase the vehicle and after wanted us to give him our bank information and said a transport was on the way. We told the buyer we don't give account information and the listing under the payment method was a certified bank check or money order and we cannot release the vehicle until the funds have cleared. Once cleared we would send the title right out and he could pick up the vehicle. He asked us to let him out of the contract, and we do, being nice, and didn't check no pay and therefor this allowed the buyer to give us a bad rating. Live and learn; if someone wants your account information on a weekend and lines up a transport within the hour, knowing you can't verify funds on the weekend, its a scam... Be aware of this person especially when they have never made large purchases or has made several inexpensive purchases to get there rating up or anyone else demanding you give out your information and says a transport is on the way. From our experience, it takes allot longer to line up a transport. If someone ask to cancel the listing and tried to scam you and did not pay, check no pay this will protect your ratings. This person clearly didn't have the funds and tried to scam us out of the vehicle.PLEASE DON'T HIT THE BUY IT NOW IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE FUNDS, THANK YOU.
