My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the nearly 80 photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Mercedes-Benz S430. The 2003 model year was about the midway point for the W220 chassis and saw numerous updates that were much needed. I would rate the exterior of this gorgeous S430 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is an absolutely gorgeous S430. She is finished in Wedgewood Blue Metallic over light tan, which is a stunning color combination. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Merc. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The soft close doors work properly still, too. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Mercedes. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Benz came in. I would rate the interior of this S430 to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As I mentioned earlier, the light tan interior contrasts nicely against the blue exterior. This is one of those cars that you'll catch yourself constantly looking back as you walk away from it. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets show well for their age and are not excessively worn. The leather seats are clean, comfortable and show virtually no wear. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. All of the interior lighting is also working properly. The audio system is the original wide screen display and is working properly. The stereo sounds good through the factory BOSE speakers. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for both the driver and passenger. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Rear seat room is generous and the retractable rear sunshade keeps the interior cool. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the 80 photos to see how beautiful this S430 looks. Mechanically, this S430 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.3L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The AirMatic suspension stays high all the time and doesn't sag down overnight. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. She hits the road nice and straight. While the S-Class is a very good all around sedan, it is at home on the open highway. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. My only complaint would be a little noise coming from something driven by the accessory belt, but it's not bad. I just noticed it, and I am pretty picky with my Merc's. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. Very few cars on the road compare to an S-Class Mercedes. You can drive down the road knowing that you are driving the best of the best and it shows throughout every inch of this S-Class. Pride in ownership is evident.
