Vehicle Detail

1997 GMC Pickup 3500 4X4 6.5 Diesel Dump Bed with Meyer 7.5 Plow Truck runs and drives but is in need of work to make it roadworthy. I haven't used it much in the last few years other than to put my boat in and out of the water for the season. I drove it the other day and noticed a brake hanging up. So I would suggest it be flatbeded. This would be a good project truck or good for parts. The true mileage is unknown because the odometer stopped. The dump bed isn't working. it needs the solenoid replaced which I have and will try to do before end of auction. The bed is pretty rusted and should be replaced. The tires have about 50% tread. The front left has a slow leak. The truck leaks oil. I thought it would probably need batteries, but it started right up after sitting for a week in this cold. I'm doing my best to list all the problems I can think of. Feel free to ask any questions. Truck is for sale as is where is with no warranty. On Nov-30-17 at 17:29:50 PST, seller added the following information: Call or text me at 631-662-2925 for any questions or if you'd like to see the truck. On Dec-03-17 at 18:52:23 PST, seller added the following information: The truck does have four wheel drive which is in working order in both high and low positions. The snow plow is in working order and is complete. The truck drives and shifts normally in forward and reverse. I think the parking brake was sticking from sitting for so long, but seems to be freeing up each time it's driven. I would say it could be driven for a short distance, but should be checked out before a long trip. The check engine light is NOT on.
