This is a well sorted, reliable, stylish driver that has been well maintained and ready to be enjoyed for many years to come. Originally sold in Milwaukee, WI in April 1972. It stayed with its original owner for about 8 years until it was sold to the second owner who eventually brought the car to the southwest. Current mileage of 92,900 is believed to be actual. Exterior: Hood, trunk and door fit is very good. Paint still has depth and shine. Most glass and chrome is original and still shows very well. Undercarriage is dry with some surface rust, however floors, rockers and jacking points are all intact. The car rides on alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli P400 175/70/14R tires with a matching alloy as spare. Interior: Seats and lower door panels have been redone in a blue/gray fabric. This is much appreciated in the heat of the southwest when shorts are the norm. Dash is in excellent shape with no cracks or peeling. Top and tonneau cover are in very good condition. Mechanical: Engine starts and runs strong with no smoking, leaking or overheating (even in the heat of Arizona). Engine is running off original SU carbs that have been recently rebuilt and fitted with k&n filters. Transmission and clutch shift smoothly through all gears. Steering is responsive and tracks straight. Suspension is firm yet compliant resulting in a great ride. Brakes are functioning well, parking brake included. Electrical: Despite the notorious reputation, all of the switches and gauges are operational and reading correctly. A pair of air horns has been fitted as backup or fun. Comes with a set of owner and service manuals plus an extra set of keys. Recently serviced and checked over. Replaced drive belt, performed oil and filter change, checked timing.
