1988 944 turbo Rothmans tribute car Many more photos, just scroll down. No reserve! I bought it 3 years ago from the second owner. The car was parked in the garage for 13 years. The car has a clean title, 127k miles with a clean Carfax report. The paint is mostly original, and it looks great. No rust or signs of accident. I always like the Rothmans livery Porsches so I decided to turn it into a tribute car. My focus was on reliability, handling, cold AC. Basically a quick and joy to drive grand tourer. The livery was done to the highest quality and details. It's a layered artwork, not printed. It can easily be removed if desired. The original phone dial wheels are currently painted gold with a rubberized non permanent paint. Underneath theyre stock silver color in good condition. The tobacco brown interior is original and shows well. I had the front seats recovered with german orange tartan and new leather. Original carpet in excellent condition. Like new door cards. The dash has a cap on it. I installed a vintage momo steering wheel, with a cool custom horn button. Air conditioning was converted to r134 refrigerant and it blows cold. I recently installed high performance KW coilovers, rides amazing. Mechanically is sound, many upgrades made within the past one year totaling well over 13k $ which I have the receipts for. Some of the work I'd like to mention: -new fuel pump and fuel lines -new power steering pump, lines and ps fluid tank -head machined and polished, new valves and upgraded thicker head gasket -new exhaust manifold studs - new water pump and timing belt - rebuilt steering rack - rebuilt turbo, new turbo pump - new injectors - all the coolant and vacuum lines changed -new engine mounts -new brakes-countless sensors and plastic pieces under the hood and around the engine-new battery-front and rear hood shocks-new spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap, rotor-new fuel pressure regulator, fuel pressure damper-various relays -new oil pan gasket-new ignition switch-new KW coilover suspension, 4 wheel electronic alignment Absolutely no leaks or smoke of any kind. This car is turn key and well dialed in. New tires with about 1500 miles on them. Its a joy to drive it, take it to the mountain roads or to your local car show. I have a clean California title in my name. Big folder with receipts for all the work done. None of the emission components were removed and/or modified so it will pass smog for California residents.
