It rolled off the line as a Ford F-800 cab and chassis in late 1999 and then to a Nevada Armorer facility for the "Magic" ... and in 2000 it rolled out as an Armored Depository Truck set to haul palatalized cash and coin. Then went into service for a well know Armored Truck and Security Transport Service. Then ending up serving as a Special Operations Vehicle here in the Mid-West. However health and plans have changed now and my indecisiveness is your Golden Goose. Details as follows: Powered by a Cummins 24 Value turbo diesel. Backed by an Allison Automatic 3 speed Transmission. 70 mph all day as it sits. Your little sister could drive this monster!! Does have ballistic windows ALL around including both windshields. These are replacements as the originals were Shot Up in a fire fight and removed to prosecute the offender. They were replaced with like kind Ballistic material. Front and rear A/C and Heat. Heat worked last week and A/C worked last week other than not as cold as I remember so it may need a charge. Standard Slam locks with additional dead bolts on Drivers door and side entry door as well, Front to Rear two-way intercom, Gear driven sliding separation door, fully ballistic with firearms port between driver and cargo compartment. Gun port opens only from the cab side to allow fire from cab into cargo area if needed. Outside additional exterior upper grab rails, and lower running boards with an extended bumper/ back porch. All built from solid steel and integrated into the truck body or frame. Triple rear doors, and a single side-walk man door on passenger side in cargo area.Truck is still equipped with four functioning external gun ports as well. providing the ability for "Defensive" fire from the security of the locked vehicle. Plus over 30 inches high of additional steel cladding down both lower sides of the truck. There are also 3 fresh air-2 way manual vents in the roof = 2 in cargo and 1 in cab. The rear doors aren't perfect and were re-done at some point before I got it and will need some attention but are functional and lock. It will need some tires before putting into full time service and a general service/going over before putting into service. The seats in the cab area should be upgraded...its a rough ride now, the manual pump air ride seats ain't what they used to be, {Lol} I drive it every week and sometimes everyday. I've made trips all over the Midwest and really Hate to have to sell it. It is a REAL and RARE in Private hands, Armored Bank/Security/Former Spec.Ops/Truck! Big and Bad and Black, It's a BEAST! It's not perfect or a show truck it's an Armored Truck! Of course it isn't perfect! It could use some things here and there however it will do what it's designed to do!! The inner cargo area skin shows evidence of handgun rounds being defeated on the inside too! Ballistic Defeat works both ways, it will keep things out as well as keeping things in. It has 2 penetration holes from API Military Type (Armor Piercing Incendiary) rounds that were reportedly from "Testing"! But as far as I know Thermite rounds have been banned for years. So its pretty safe to say this will do nicely as a great Platform or Base for any real world needs and the possibilities for expedition type vehicles are endless as well. You could Theoretically "Chop" the whole front end, engine and all off this Truck and it wouldn't affect the operations of the cab and cargo area from continuing to function!
