My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5L with the desirable 5 speed manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this Jetta to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. This car is what I would call a ten footer...maybe 20. The bright red finish looks good and is a good color on these cars. You should be able to see in the photos that there is a rather good sized dent in the back of the trunk lid above where the licanse plate goes. Additionally, there are scratches here and there. The only other bad thing I can say is that there are some rust bubbles visible under the paint over the front fenders. This you probably will not be able to see in the photos and is, unfortunately, normal as these cars age. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Please take the time to check out each of the photos very carefully. If you're looking to impress anybody, this is probably not the car for you. I would also rate the interior of this Jetta to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash is clean and the carpets show well for their age. As you can see in the photos, the headliner is sagging. This is also normal for these cars, unfortunately. The seats are clean and comfortable. The driver's window swith does not work. However, the other windows do go up and down with their respective switches. The stereo system is original and sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mecanically, this Jetta appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.5L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too...although she might be due for pads soon. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The airbag light stays on. Otherwise, there have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The engine makes good power and this is a fun car to drive. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the five speed manual transmission are clean and precise, as they should be. Again, please understand that this car is not the best looking one out there. However, with just 68k miles on the clock, you're buying a low mile car that you can just run and run. If you put a lot of miles on your car and want something reliable, economical and comfortable but don't really care about cosmetics, this would be a perfect fit. Our preferred payment method is Cash in Person. For those customers who plan to have their vehicle shipped or cannot make it in person within 7 days, you may also pay for your vehicle by Certified Check or Bank-To-Bank Wire Transfer. If paying by Bank Check or Bank Wire Transfer, funds must clear before your vehicle is available for release. We Do Not Accept PayPal or Credit Cards...at all...period. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Non-Paying Bidders will be reported to eBay, blocked from bidding on future auctions and may be referred to our Collection Agency for credit reporting and fee recovery. Fees and Taxes The only fee we charge is the $149 Administrative Fee that is also disclosed in the first sentence of the written description.
