Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT, Handicap Van with manual ramp. Please use the -=- MAKE OFFER TAB -=- if you would like to give some reasonable offers. I'll likely accept any fair offer. For now more about the vehicle. The ramp lowers to ground by opening the rear door, unlocking the two locks as pictured and lowering the ramp. Wheelchair conversion was done by Assisted Transportation System aka ATS. It was converted in 2008 and conforms to national standards at that time. The van has the lowered floor, two rear seats, power windows, power door locks, power heated mirrors, A/C front and rear, dual front airbags, CD player, remote key entry, tilt and cruise control. The two sliding doors also open with the remote control or by pressing a bottom inside the door, or above you head on the console. One door works fine, the other door will open manually, but appears to have stopped responding to the controls. The van also has a HomeLink System for programming your garage door openers into it. Mutiple front and rear tie downs for a wheelchair. I've actually had two wheelchairs in it safely by using a adapted unit, but I am only including the tie downs for one wheelchair as that other tie down did not come with this vehicle and was needed elsewhere. The van runs great and drives good. It has the 3.8L V6 engine with an automatic transmission. The wheelchair ramp and door works great! Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction via Paypal. The remainder is due within 3 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. My name is Stephen. Please feel free to call me with any questions at 814 2071115. The auction fee in the amount of $200.00 will be added to the total winning bid to cover buyer's expenses in picking-up the vehicle. If the bid goes over the amount I am seeking I will consider paying the associated fee's. The Vehicle has a new PA State Inspection, New Tires, Brakes, and Rotors, The exhaust system was replaced in the past 3 years. When my mother passed away I no longer had a need for this vehicle and it sat in my garage for a year. I took it out of the garage started it up and drove it around just the other day. Since the gas had sat for a year, I figured it best to run that fuel out and fill up the tank with fresh gas. It is always amazing to me, when a vehicle can sit for so long, and just turn right over on a dime. In my heart I would have listed this in mint condition. I cannot honestly do this though because as you can see on the passenger side there was a slight abrasion to that side, and the plastic near the door handle is slightly cracked. I am told that would be a easy fix, but I don't know the first thing about that. To my knowledge the vehicle has only had three owners and has a clean history which I will attempt to add a vehicle report to this. The maintenance was completed on this vehicle on a regular basis and all oils changes and fluid checks completed regularly when it was being driven daily to Church and to her appointments. A/C was serviced as well as I LOVE COLD AC. If you would like to know anything else about this vehicle please ask. I will be will to answer any and all questions. The Previous posting of this van generated a bid of $6500.00 which I would have gladly accepted, but the bidder pulled out. The other Bidder was offered a second chance at $6,300.00 but they had already purchased a older model for $8,000.00 because it had more space. Their loss if your gain! Therefore, I am setting the bidding as Fixed Price, but will take all serious offers by clicking on the BEST OFFER tab.
