1972 Chevrolet Caprice 4-door hardtop. 454-V8, Automatic. Brown with black vinyl top and black fabric interior. New tires. I got this car from a retired doctor, whose father bought it new. The mileage is original. The interior has been redone in original fabric. It has a new fuel pump and water pump, a new carburetor, and a new master cylinder. The car has a dash pad cover. It also has an after-market AM-FM-Cassette player. Door panels, carpet, and headliner are all very nice. This vehicle has been in Central and North Texas its whole life. Note that it has had the Freon 134 conversion, and was recently serviced and charged. There are some paint imperfections in the middle of the hood. On the rear lower quarter panels,I just noticed that the rust bubbles under the paint have rusted through (rubbed too hard while washing it). One small piece of chrome (2" long on top of the left fender where it joins the pillar post) is missing. One sun visor has stitching coming loose. Beyond that, this is a really straight and clean old car. It starts, runs, and drives very well. This would be a fun and practical collectible car. I will lower the minimum a little bit in hopes of finding a new home for this classic.
