Rare 1961 190B Mercedes-Benz, body style W121 also known as the Ponton model up for sale · Same owner since 2003 · Mercedes-Benz 1900cc four cylinder engine · Four forward and one reverse gear manual transmission · Most chrome on car re-done, interior re-done, new door seals, new steering wheel and lots more done. · Most recent work done on car is new brakes all around.· Car has always been garaged away from the rain and sun since I have owned it. Hard to believe this car is 56 years old. The little 4 cylinder overhead engine is still very strong and the car accelerates and runs very smoothly. The car has column shift with 4 forward gears and 1 reverse gear, and has no issues changing gears. The underneath and floor boards of the car is very solid with very minor little surface rust, see picture. The most recent work done on the car was new brake shoes and wheel cylinder fixes. I have owned the car for over 14 years. At the time of the purchase I had most of the chrome re-done, the interior re-done, new door seals, new steering wheel, carburetor rebuilt, fuel pump replaced and the car was painted. The odometer on the car shows 79175, I believe it could be the genuine mileage but it can’t be verified. The car comes with the original set of tools and manual. The car is currently registered and comes with a clean title. The car is a joy to drive, has excellent throttle response and has a very solid feel to it. Car is taken out once or twice a month to make sure that everything remains in order. Please note the car is being sold as-is without any warranty.Car is located in Pleasanton, CA. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and pickup arrangements.I am selling the car because I need the garage space. Hence the car is up for auction, highest bidder wins the cars.
