Has maintenance records since purchased at 50K milesTires replaced 14k miles agoNo Accidents! It has been very reliable.It can sit outside in the winter for a week and start right up. It has been cheap to own, cheap to maintain and a good ride with decent power and comfortable to drive. Smooth ride quality, above-average fuel economy with V6, plenty of passenger and cargo space, ample safety and convenience features. A couple of things could use attention: gas gauge needs replaced, fan works two speeds, some light paint flaking on rear bumper (see pic). Usual dings expected on a 12 year old car. And you can start the car remotely, a great feature on cold, winter mornings. No question, this is a highly competent sedan that's practical and easy to live with. The Malibu ranked tops in the midsize car class in the J.D.Power Initial Quality Surveys for two consecutive years.
