First let me say "Thank you" for looking at my auction This is an investment quality 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2dr hardtopThis car is fantastic inside, outside, and underneath.The car was a frame off restoration 15 years and 2,231 miles ago.Below is what I know and what I have been told by the owners daughter who inherited the car. Her father started with an original complete running / driving California car in his favorite color.The excellent original body was completely stripped to bare metal.Repainted the original color of Tropical Teal (code 799a) in PPG Base coat / clear coat.Interior restored in the original N.O.S. Black / Teal (code 673).Completely rebuilt original date coded 283 V-8.Completely rebuilt Tour Glide automatic transmission.All of the suspension completely rebuilt using N.O.S. parts.Power disc brakes added at time of restoration (1969 Camaro donor parts).Original stainless and bright trim removed, re-polished, and re-installed.Original front bumper and re-chromed original rear bumper.All new gm nos glass (rear window has some light scratches).New exhaust from the manifolds / heat risers to the rear bumper.New 15 x 7 front and 15 x 8 chrome rally wheels with derby caps.New BF Goodrich T/A radials front and rear.Holly 650 replacing the original Carter carb with an aftermarket chrome air cleaner.There is so much more. Just no reason for the list to go on and on and on......This is a stunning example of a very clean, rust free, professionally restored 1957 Bel Air.The car starts, runs, drives, and stops, better than the day it was new!Everything is in excellent operating condition with the exception of the factory clock.
