This 1999 Buick Park Avenue has been garage kept and driven by an 83 year old lady since April of 2014. Prior to that time, it was owned by another member of her family who purchased the car new, kept it in her garage and drove it for close to 15 years before selling it to her. Deteriorating health has made it necessary for assisted living care and hence, no need to own a car any longer. Driven very sparingly over the last three and a half years. The current mileage is 54,133 original miles. Once the determination was made to go ahead and sell the car...one of the mechanics in the family went through the car with the proverbial "fine tooth comb" and fixed and/or repaired anything that he thought should be done to the car. The list given to me reads as follows: New front coil springs and struts. New fuel tank gauge and pump. New fuel filter. New plugs and wires. New oil pressure sending unit switch. New cabin air filter. New engine air filter. Change oil and filter. Recharge air conditioning. New passenger side blendoor actuator switch. Had a front end alignment done on August 29, 2017. Passed the Illinois Air Team Vehicle Emissions Testing Program on August 31, 2017. The car is in absolutely amazing condition. Completely rust free. No signs of even the beginning of any sort of rust problems under the doors that these cars are noted for. Outside of the typical minor scratches on the corners of the bumpers that seem to be standard equipment on these cars due to the average age of their drivers...there is nothing wrong with this car at all. Everything inside and out works as it should. Including the factory installed moonroof! Decided to not have the car detailed. We have always been leery about people who do that prior to selling their car. Always thought they were trying to hide something. The outstanding original condition will speak for itself given the care of ownership that it has received all these years.
