1984 Chevrolet Corvette You are bidding on a 1984 Chevrolet Corvette with 78,000 miles. This Vette is in very good shape for the year. It is unmolested, and has the 4-3 Manual Transmission. I have owned the car for a couple of years and rarely drive it. I recently had the Fuel Pump and Fuel sending Unit replaced due to the gas gauge not reading properly. While I was having the fuel pump/sending unit replaced I had the A/C system evacuated and recharged. The A/C blows very cold!! This Corvette was re-painted prior to my ownership, and it looks decent but is not a high dollar job. It shines really nice, but has a few places that need some attention. It has a crack in the paint on the hood (shown in pictures) that is noticeable if you are looking for flaws, and on the front there is a small section where it has peeled off. I suspect this may have happened running it through the car wash. The Corvette runs and drives great!! It has lots of power and coupled with the 4-3 manual transmission it is fun to drive. The 4-3 manual is a standard 4-speed transmission with overdrive available for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gears. I only use the overdrive on the interstate, and it helps with fuel consumption. I have never checked the gas mileage, but it is decent for a 5.7 liter V-8. I try my best to tell all that I know about a vehicle that I am selling. I feel that it is best to be honest, and I have sold many vehicles on Ebay and have 100% feedback rating. This Corvette is not a show car, but with a little money could very well be one. The driver's interior door panel needs some attention. It is all there, but is loose at the top. I think it just needs to be re-glued. The driver's and passenger's windows need to have the exterior window sweeps replaced. They have some dry rot and cracking. The dash has a crack in the center (shown in pictures). I have adjusted the buy it now price to offset any confusion in the original listing.
