My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2007 Saab 9-5 Aero with just 122k original miles. I would rate the exterior of this 9-5 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. She is finished in dark blue over black and parchment two tone leather interior. The blue finish shines nicely for its age and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific 9-5, you can see a patch of paint missing on the roof directly in front of the sunroof. I don't know what causes this but I see it all the time on 9-5's of this generation. Otherwise, you'll just find a few normal scratches and marks here and there as would be expected with a 10 year old car. The trim and moldings are all present and show well. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. The 9-5 Aero is one of my faviorite cars. If I'm being honest, all of the Aero's are. In fact, my personal daily driver is an 07 9-3 Aero. Their styling is so subtle that only a few people will know what it is when you pass by, unlike other hot sedans that are covered in fins and spoilers which serve no purpose other than attracting attention. I would rate the interior of this 9-5 Aero to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The deeply bolstered leather sport seats are specific to the Aero Package and show very well. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for both the driver and passenger. The heater works well and the aif conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The worst I can say about the interior is that the cup holder is broken. This 9-5 Aero comes with two master keys, a full set of factory floor mats and a full set of owner's books. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this 9-5 Aero appears to be in good running and driving condition. The high output 2.3L turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The check engine light came on during my road test. The code was for a crank position sensor (P0336, I believe). The turbo spools up quickly and provides good power. These are seriously quick cars. My favorite thing about Saabs has to be how they're geared. The engines make so much torque that the cars can be geared rather high...which makes them one of the best cruising cars on the road. When most 4cyl cars are spinning the engine well north of 3,000 rpms cruising at 80mph, this 9-5 Aero is turning closer to 2.000 rpms. The result is very impressive fuel economy for a car that is conservatively rated at around 250ho. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the fuel gauge doesn't work (thanks, GM). Late 9-5 Aero's are getting hard to find...especially ones that don't have a ton of miles on them. This 9-5 Aero has just 122k miles and has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of August, 2018. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
