My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 60+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 with the desirable extended cab. The Ford F-150 needs no introduction. Its reputation as a rugged and reliable truck has made it the best selling truck family. I would rate the exterior of this F-150 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck overall. It is finished in Oxford White over tan with matching tan trim, which is a good color combination. As wtih any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific truck, the finish on the hood is pretty dull and the paint is chipping at some spots. This seems to be limited to the hood, though. The finish on the rest of the truck looks good for its age. As with any older F-150, please expect to find some body rust so check out each of the photos carefully as you'll probably see some usual rust on the door bottoms, rockers and around the lower portions of the fenders and bed. I will say that this truck is in better shape than most, as far as body rust goes. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber. Tire tread is on the thin side of average all around but you should be able to get another year or so out of them, depending on how much you drive. I should note that this F-150 was announced as being "not originally built for the U.S. market" when I bought it. I would assume it was Canadian originally, as must of the ones that made it down here were...but the speedometer is in MPH, not KPH...so I don't know. The only difference I can spot is that this F-150 has daytime running lights, which is a Canadian market requirement. This truck has been registered in the U.S. and currently has a PA title so you'll have no issue registering it in your home state. I would rate the interior of this F-150 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are clean and full looking thorughout the interior. A set of factory OE all weather floor mats are included. The cloth seats are clean, comfortable and show virtually no wear. The rear access doors to the back of the cab make it easy to get in and out or to just reach your stuff. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The power windows and mirrors work. The power locks do not. The only other thing I should make note of is that the previous owner installed a push button starter. I don't know why, but it works every time. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this F-150 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.6L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. You can hear an audible leak in the exhaust manifolds, which is pretty much expected at this age. It's most audible at cold start and quiets down a little once it runs a few minutes and the exhaust gets hot. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The suspension feels nice and tight. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine makes good power and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Non-Paying Bidders will be reported to eBay, blocked from bidding on future auctions and may be referred to our Collection Agency for credit reporting and fee recovery.
