1962 International Harvester Scout 80. Harvester Red with White top, 2015 professional paint job. 152 C.I. 4 cylinder, 3 speed manual, twin stick Dana 18 transfer case with Warn overdrive unit. Dana 27 axles, 4.27 gears with power-lok’s. Con-Ferr winch. I have had this truck since 2004 and it has been garaged the hole time. Scout was very solid to start with. The rear bed was rust free, Drivers floor and right rocker panel were replaced with steel repair panels. Small rust holes were repaired with welded in steel. Interior was coated with bed liner. Truck was stripped down as seen in photo and sent to body shop for final work and painting. Body shop reassembled scout after paint. Parts replaced during restoration: BFG tires 31 10.5 R15. Rebuilt transmission, clutch and overdrive unit. Rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt master cylinder, replaced plugs and wires. New front steel brake lines and rubber brake hoses, new rear steel brake lines all but one replaced, new rear wheel cylinders. New thermostat and radiator hoses and several core plugs, new fan belt. New exhaust manifold gasket muffler and pipes. New alternator and extra fuse box, replaced all dash light bulbs, new exterior light gaskets. New fuel filler hose and steel fuel line for driver’s side tank, new filter, new fuel caps and filler mounts for both tanks. New glass seals for windshield and 3 top windows. New door seals and seals for top to body. New drive shaft U-joints. New air inlet hoses for heater and vent system. Roll bar with shoulder seat belts custom front bumper. New Shocks. All fluids have been replaced. New Scout and All Wheel Drive fender emblems look really good with the fresh paint job. Needs: right side gas tank and filler hose. Though the exhaust is all new it could use a bit more work to finish its custom routing. Slider door glass weather stripping. Door lock keys.
