Hello. You are bidding on a 1977 Chevy short bed/High Sierra Classic 4X4. It is originally from California, now resides in Oregon, and I am believed to be the 3rd owner. Condition is as follows: Drivetrain: Runs and drives good, fires right up, has great oil pressure. Engine is rebuilt and runs excellent, not known if it original to the truck or not. Clutch and transmission are in good working order and shift good. Dual mufflers are new. Brakes work well, 4 wheel drive works good also. Frame where steering box mounts is in good shape, no cracks or fatigue. Battery is new. Needs intake resealed (leaks at rear) and rear end yolk seal replaced. (slow leak) Overall, mechanically this truck is in pretty decent shape. Battery tray is rusted but I have a new one that is included in the sale. Interior: As you can see, interior is in good driver quality condition. Most everything is in good working condition, lights, turn signals, brake lights, gauges etc. Fuel gauge and heater motor, however, do not work. Tilt column is tight, no issues. Body: As you can see, the body is in very nice shape in regards to not having rust. The truck has one single respray a bunch of years ago. Other than that, as you can see, just the normal bumps and scrapes that happen over the years. Any rust is just starting and can be seen in the pictures, nothing bigger than a pencil eraser. Rocker panels, cab corners, doors, bottoms of fenders, and below windsheild and rear glass are all super solid. Cab and bed mounts are tired. Rear bumper is a little bent and the chrome is shot. Overall this is just a tired truck that needs some love, but is a solid driver and worth the effort. Thanks for looking Any potential bidders/buyers..
