UP for sale is a 1985 Honda VF700f Interceptor in original condition. The bike has just over 12,400 miles and is original. This classic is 32 years old and is not mint! It is a great used classic retro Honda. This was a barn find in New York last year and I went through just about everything! The bike has a new chain, front and rear sprocket. The bike over all runs pretty good. New brake pads on front and rear. There is a lot of Honda NOS parts in this classic. New battery. All the controls work nice and smooth. New bulbs in every socket. 4 brand new rubber turn signal stays. The original owners manual is mint, no tears writing or rips either, The original owners pouch is mint to. The rear massive single piston shock works perfect with 30 lbs of air in it. The rear aluminum Swing arm removed and new bearings installed. All new fluids. Many extra parts also come with this bike, new oil filter new starter relay. And an extra highly polished aluminum Honda stator cover. The cover is as shiny as chrome. The 1 key unlocks the ignition, seat, helmet holder and gas cap. The black fuel cap is mint and no vapors escape, very tight nice fit. Nice loud horn. New bulbs in every socket. Hi and low beam work great. New NOS grips and speedometer cable. New coolant pipes seals to the heads. Both mufflers are pretty nice with minimal marcs. No road rash or dents. New coolant and flushed 1 hour. Both coolant fans work. New V-FOUR lower nose cone decal. Shocks are healthy and do not leak . The famous Honda Trac anti dive system works. New speedometer cable. Very nice Honda sandstone finish front calipers. Bike also comes with another pair if front rotors. Only .003 wear on both! All new instrument light bulbs and the fuse panel is brand new NOS replaced.New brake fluid and clutch fluid. The interceptor comes with a extra highly polished chrome like stator cover. Many parts will also go with the bike. Including a another pair of front and rear wheels. New oil filter. New starter relay, plus extras. The starter is very very strong.New oil drain plug. Instrument panel is very bright and red at night. I took out the dim old bulbs and put in new ones. The plastic on the bike is in really great shape but the upper front cowl does have marcs on it along with a stress crack on the right top edge. The fuel tank is in great shape but does have scratches and marcs on it. NO DENTS either. Front of tank near seat is very nice. No zipper or coat marcs! Brand new fuel petcock turn valve very smooth turning! The bike has very low miles for being over 31 years old. The black seat is very good with 1 tiny tear in it. The Title is clean and just issued in May this year no issues! The seat has 1 tiny tear in it thats it.The carburetors were removed and professionally cleaned and rejetted. New oil and filter and new air filter. Horn, lights and all functions work on this bike. Tires are OK for a while but will need new ones in the future. Bike is in good condition and ready for a new owner. Being sold as is with no warranties. Own if piece of Honda's famous history. These are the bikes that started the upcoming crotch rocket fever soon afterwords. This is a true recognizable bike for sure. Everybody loves it. Honda only made these classics 3 years. 1983,84 85.The red white and blue is instantly known when seen. There are a couple of pictures of the 700 being sold pictured with my 1984 Honda VF1000f. The 1984 Honda vf1000f pictured is NOT for sale. Please don't ask. I've had it new since June 1984 This auction is for the 1985 Honda vf700f Interceptor only nothing else pictured is for sale. Buyer responsible for pickup. $500 is immediately due after auction is over. And balance due is paid in full with cash only when bike is picked up. NO TEST RIDES... I went through this in 1997 on a 1985 Honda CB700SC Nighthawk, only to see the dummy pushing the bike up the street after laying it down. You wanna ride it please buy it first..No exceptions. The bike is not mint just a great looking riding retro bike. Its 32 years old so that is what your getting. Its not new by any means. Thanks
