1972 Triumph T100 Project ChopperI bought this bike as it is pictured assembled. It was NOT running when I purchased it. I disassembled the bike planning to restore it but will not have the time so I'm selling it.I have done my best to show all the parts though some are in boxes. I started to strip the old paint from the frame but stopped. The frame is an old school hand-welded one piece and does not have a VIN. The motor is the typical Triumph 500cc and needs work. I don't know if it is in running condition. Other than the frame I believe the rest of the core parts are OEM Triumph. Everything else about the bike--seat, wheels, forks, fenders, chain, oil tank, cables, etc--seem to be in serviceable condition. The tires are holding air but I do not know how old they are and cannot personally guarantee their road worthiness. There are two fuel tanks included though one needs significant tin work. I was planning on having most of the parts sandblasted and primed before I began to put it back together.It's a KICK START as it was when it was built which I feel adds to the charm of the bike. This is not a highway bike; but it would be more than suitable for a run around town, to work, and/or bar bike.I have a title for the bike that was signed off in 1981. The frame has no VIN. I researched the motor numbers and I could not trace them to a specific bike or sale. I believe this could be titled as salvage with a bill of sale--which I have from the previous owner and will issue a bill of sale of my own on sale.I am, as an alternative to selling it, also interested in having a seasoned bike mechanic put it back together for me as a quoted project price or by the hour.
