Vehicle Detail
I purchased from a Ford dealer in 2009 with 28,816 miles on it. I drive it everyday for work. It has never been off road or had a plow attached. I never have heavy loads in the box, just minor tools. I have done some minor towing of trailers. It does have trailer brake control. Always garaged in winter. Synthetic oil change apprx. every 5000 miles. New wheels a few years ago. Old wheels come with truck. New tires this year. New rear leaf springs this year. Seat covers put on front seats in 2016. Too much eating and leaving screw driver in pocket while driving. Almost always repaired by Ford dealer. Rust: Very little rust on body. I actually have bare metal in some spots. Thought of touching it up but I would have made it worse. Left that for you. Underbody has normal rust for a garaged vehicle of this age. Exception is spare tire. It looks trashed. I have never had it off. Known issues: 1-Squeek from front left side sometimes when motion started. Stops after less than a mile. No one can seem to find the reason. I have had this for two years since Ford put on new brakes. Of course they have not heard it when I have it in to them. 2- Sometimes there is a delay on the drivers window when putting it up. Annoying but window has always gone up after 1 to 2 second delay. 3-Not really that fond of the new wheels I put on a few years ago. Hard to keep clean, but they do look nice. 4-Tried to stop cap from leaking with silicone. Did a shtty job and it still leaked. Had the cap guy put on new seals. Does not leak, but silicone remains to remind me. 5- Never been in accident but I have met up with a couple of mailboxes with my tailgate. 6-Tailgate needs grease regularly or it gets really hard to open and close. 7- I got a little white paint on the hood a few years back. Looks like bird dropping. Afraid to try to get it off. Car wash guy always gives me a little extra scrubbing in that area. 8- I do not use the parking brake. Last time I used it, it took 60 miles to get it to release all the way. This has been a good truck for me and I would still be driving it if I had not had an impulse purchase of a 26ft travel trailer last year. This truck will pull it, but just a little to old to feel good about going to far from home with a trailer in tow. Shipping: Buyer is responsible for the cost of all shipping and handling. Thanks for looking, good luck.
