1967 Triumph TR4a IRS This is a true Barn Find & Project Car This car is a one family owned car that was parked in a family warehouse in 1986. It originates from N-E Ohio and I am based in Central Ohio I purchased the car from the gentleman that discovered the car, it had been cleaned up and some work had begun partially dismantling the car mainly brakes, carbs and exhaust (see the listing photographs), some new parts had been purchased for the car including, water pump, master cylinder, slave cylinder, exhaust header, hoses etc....see photographs The engine turns freely and shifts through the gears.The trunk appears to be solid, the seats show patina and are dry but usable with some car. There is a roll bar installed. The under side of the car has surface rust, so please assume that some repairs will be necessary The body is straight, no dings. It does appear to me that it has had a repaint at some point throughout its 50 years This car is being sold as-is as a restoration project with a lots of potential upside for someone that is prepared to put work into it. I don't have the time to do this car justice so I am passing it along to someone that can The value of TR4a's is shooting up and it is extremely rare to come across a barn find like this particularly one of the latter cars with the IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) option The car comes with all old parts and new parts shown in the photographs I will be happy to answer questions and you are welcome to inspect the car This is a three day auction, payment is due within 3 days and pickup within 7 days of auction close please.
