1987 S-10 Tahoe One beautiful S-10 Tahoe up for your consideration. The body and paint on this truck is outstanding. Sporting most of it's original paint which not perfect but very nice. No fading or clear coat issues. All the bright work is nice. The undercarriage is like new as well. No rust or rust repair, ever. Unbelievable. This truck came from an estate sale in western Oklahoma and has definitively always been garaged. Never exposed to road salt. The interior is also very nice. Never smoked in. Still smells new inside. Seats, carpet, and panels are pristine. Dash is PERFECT with NO cracks. Radio works well and sounds clear. Tilt wheel and cruise works great ! The truck has good tires and does run and drive down the road great, but is NOT a dependable driver yet . It does have engine issues. Now for the not so good... The 2.8 engine is leaking oil massively. Consider the engine needing major repair. It appears the oil is coming from the top of the engine. The intake manifold are and valve covers are definitely leaking The check engine light comes on, then goes out. The 700R transmission and the rest of the drive train is excellent. Will need a new A/C compressor. So for these reasons we'll consider this a project truck. We had planned to install a V8 crate engine but that never materialized. On the interior the headliner is coming unglued on the passenger side. A return spring on the shift lever will need replaced. It works fine but a little sloppy. Also a weak spring on the interior door handle. Latch is broken and minor window frame damage on the sliding rear window. All questions are welcome and important. we'll answer all emails ASAP.
