A classic 1982 Honda CB900F Super Sport in the popular Freddie Spencer paint scheme with just 21700 miles on the odometer (may go up slightly as the bike is exercised). This bike has been very well maintained and looks and runs great. A rare opportunity to own a classic Honda Super Sport that is ready to ride and is in beautiful original condition. This is just a partial list of what has been done in the time I have owned this classic:Work performed at/near 19000 miles (Sept 2015):- new Deka AGM battery- rebuilt front and rear master cylinders with new seals- rebuilt front and rear brake calipers with new seals- new front and rear EBC brake pads - new Speigler braided stainless brake lines (vintage black to match the originals)- brake rotors resurfaced by Truedisk- new front 100/90-19V Shinko 230 Tourmaster tire- new rear 120/90-18V Shinko 230 Tourmaster tire- new front and rear wheel bearings- new Honda sprockets (17/44) and JR chain (530-106)- valve clearance service- new Honda fuel petcock- front forks rebuilt with new seals and bushes- new choke cableMajor service/maintenance performed since 21679 miles (Mar 2017):- oil change and filter- replaced clutch basket dampersThis is a very nice original survivor and looks great for a 35 year old motorcycle. This is a great bike if you like to ride a vintage Honda and don't want to spend $$$ after the purchase correcting faded paint, worn tires, brakes, drive chain, and a missing or rusted out exhaust. The gas tank is still unlined and the original bodywork are in exceptional condition with only a tiniest imperfections. If you want a project, this is not for you, if you want to ride and enjoy a classic Honda for years to come, this might make a dream come true (but do in keep in mind this is a vintage motorcycle and is sold 'as-is' with no warranty).There are a few blemishes picked up over it long life, but just a few:- marks on the fuse holder where multiple keys on a keychain scratched the paint- minor wear and tear to the alternator/point covers (but I have an NOS ones for sale if you want them to be perfect)This bike loves to be ridden and starts easily and has been on the cb1100f.net NE Spring/Fall rides for the past few years, expect to get compliments when you stop for gas or bring it to any gathering of bikes. Also included in the sale are the original tool kit, the Honda factory service manual, and the original Honda owners manual.
