My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the nearly 80 photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2004 Volkswagen Passat GLS sedan with just 144k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Passat to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a beautiful sedan. She is finished in Silver over matching Gray cloth interior, which looks good. The silver finish has a deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Passat. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Passat came in. I would rate the interior of this Passat to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards show a little age but are presentable. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The cloth seats are clean, comfortable and show almost no wear. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is the optional Monsoon Premium Sound, which appears to be working properly and sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, please take the time to check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Passat appears to be in good running and driving condition. The turbocharged 1.8L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. She hits the road as straight as an arrow. This Passat feels rock solid through and through. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. If you're looking for a clean and comfortable car to get around in, a Passat is a safe bet. They're pretty simple and reliable. The 1.8T engine will last and last if you take care of it. I personally sold an Audi with this engine to my friend's brother with 319k miles on it. Last I knew, it was nearing 340k and it ran like a top...and still does. You just have to take care of it. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction.
