Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 2006 Acura TL Base Model. It has a 3.2L V6 with an Automatic Transmission. The car was originally my grandmothers and was given to me about 3 years ago. I've moved to West Virginia and needed a 4 wheel drive. I am selling this now as I don't need it anymore. It is very reliable and has served me great.. mechanically the car is sound except for two very small electrical issues. The passenger side window switch "Auto Feature" doesn't work... the window moves up and down fine... just not the auto-up feature. The second issue is the Bluetooth will not pair... the Hands Free Link module needs to be replaced. They're about $50 on eBay or $280 from factory. I don't use the Bluetooth anyways, so it wasn't an issue to me. Those are the mechanical problems. As far as the cosmetic condition of the car, I'm going to be 100% honest with all the details. The paint has some random scratches and 2 spots that are chipping... about the size of a quarter. A small dent right above the rear drivers side wheel. Somebody backed into the front bumper in a parking lot one time, I tried to pay out of pocket and bought a new bumper off eBay that was already painted. When it arrived, the color was slightly off the rest of the car. Someone told me it's the difference between waterborne paints and normal paints. You don't really notice it unless you're looking for it. The car has almost all highway mileage, there are small nicks on the front bumper as you'd expect in a 12 year old car. The interior is in fair condition. The leather seats have some cracking and the back of the seats have a few gouges/scratches. The passenger side door panel leather insert part is starting to separate. In the trunk, some latex primer was spilled and has dried.. the spot is about 8 inches in diameter. The trunk is also missing the small carpet panel that covers the edges. The engine and transmission are great.. I've never had any issues with them. The car drives and handles very well and I would not be selling it if I didn't move to the mountains. I drive 1,100 miles round trip from WV to SC with it all the time. It's really not bad for a 12 year old car. I am not a dealer, this was my personal vehicle and has been family owned since it was purchased new. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks and happy bidding!
