We bought this van brand new, and have absolutely loved it. It has been perfectly reliable, looks great with just the right amount of 'swag', and has perfect versatility. However, with the kids now older (21, 16 and 13), it seems as though 8 seats is rarely needed and the Highlander Hybrid was a logical replacement for my wife's daily driver. This van has been well maintained, and has BRAND NEW tires, brakes and a service. The van is no longer 'like new', as it does have its share of expected dings, scratches and scuffs. But it really does looks amazing for it's age, especially in the newly waxed and polished 'South Pacific Pearl' color. Inside, is VERY NICE, but does have a few cracks in the drivers side armrest and a hole in the carpet floor mat where my wife's heel would rest when she drove it. Otherwise, it looks like it could have half of the miles it does. More specifically, it is about 180 miles to greater LA or 180 miles to SF, and only 110 miles to either Bakersfield or Fresno (either/or....same either way). There is a commercial airport 30 miles away in San Luis Obispo, where you could fly into if you wanted to drive it home. The paint shines beautifully, but has several small dings, dents and/or scuffs here and there. Drivers door has several small dents from where the door was opened into a cabinet in the garage. Interior is in great shape, save for a 'heel' hole in the drivers side floor mat, some color wear on the steering wheel, and a few small cracks on a fold down armrest (drivers seat, visible in pictures). Mechanically I am not aware of any issues, and everything works as it should. There is a current recall notice out for the passenger airbag replacement. I believe Toyota is still waiting on available parts on this recall (at least they were last time we checked) - this is a no cost repair by any Toyota dealer (so long as they have the parts stocked).
