Offered for auction is a 2011 Toyota Prius 3 Hybrid Hatchback with a 1.8 engine. Original sticker price was $27,410. It is fully equipped with power windows, tilt wheel, cruise control, JBL stereo, satellite radio, power locks, A/C, navigation system and back up camera. It even has a remote start feature. This is a recent, one owner, dealer serviced trade in from a local Toyota dealer. There was a clerical error in the paperwork, which we did not catch. We have a signed odometer statement from the original owner that states the vehicle had 55,500 miles when traded in. We bought the vehicle with 48,448 miles. I think what happened was they were to lazy to go outside and check the miles so they just took a guess, especially with a nice round number of 55,500 All service records as well as car fax verify 48,488 are accurate. Clearly this was a clerical error.Legally it has to be sold TRUE MILEAGE UNKNOWN and we do not want any confusion on this matter..This car is very clean, but it not a new car. . It has a few minor scratches in the front and rear bumper covers, a few small dents in the left fender. And if you look really hard, you may find a minor nick or scratch like any vehicle of this age (see photos). I took this car on vacation last week and drove 900 miles and averaged 47 MPG fully loaded down. The A/C is ice cold, the tires are in great shape and it run excellent and it is a pleasure to drive.
