Selling my 1968 R69 US, matching numbers. The bike is garage kept and has been well maintained throught the years with all maintenance records and all work done by reputable BMW dealers. To the best of my knowledge this is a 4 owner bike. Original items include all keys and owners manual (sorry no toolkit ;-( ). The motorcycle is in original condition with original paint. It runs well with some typical wear that one would expect from a 49 year old bike. Recent 2017 - maintenance includes, new tires, new battery, carb clean, fuel petcock, oil pan gasket, oil sump gasket, points & condenser, rear brake shoes and a fresh oil change. For the buyer I would also include a pair of Denfield hard bags that I purchased that are in the color Dover White. I inteded to paint these black when I did the full restoration but it never happened. The mounting brackets for the bags are for a toaster series, so you would still need to get the older bike brakets (pre-toaster) to fit the older R series bikes. Other than that these hard bags are used but in excellent condition. The shipping would be up to the buyer and at the expense of the buyer but I would help facilitate the transaction. U-Ship seems reasonably priced.
