VIDEO LINK TO WALK AROUND OF WHOLE CAR - Car being relisted. Previous buyer couldn't come up with money. We are selling out 1968 Pontiac GTO. This is an original, numbers matching 400 HO car. The Engine, Trans, and Rear end are all original to the car. I have PHS documentation providing all the proof of this. BODYThe car is painted Meridian Turquoise, which is the original color. The paint job is beautiful and the body is laser straight. There are a few very small paint chips and a couple minor dings here and there, but overall the body is in excellent shape. The Chrome on the car is also in excellent condition. All The glass is nearly flawless. All the jams are in beautiful shape. The Vinyl top is new and flawless. This car is uncut as it has original floor pans and original quarters. The underbody is very clean with no rust. INTERIORThe interior of this GTO is immaculate. It is the original Turquoise interior from the factory. There is no sign of wear and tear anywhere, with the exception of a small hole about the size of a dime in the headliner. There are no tears in the seats, and the carpet is unfaded. Has new sill plates. Door panels are new. All the gauges and every single one of the interior lights work. The radio also works great. The power antenna works. DRIVETRAINThe engine and trans are rebuilt. The car starts right up and runs great. The engine was professionally rebuilt out of a machine shop in Chelsea, Michigan. It currently has a Demon four barrel carb, but comes with the original QuadraJet that it came with from the factory. The trans shifts flawlessly and the His/Hers Hurst shifter (factory option) also works without any issues. The car has a very clean engine bay. The car has the much sought after "Header Manifolds", which i was told was original to the car and was put on by the dealer that the car came from. The car also has brand new exhaust/mufflers from the engine all the way back to the tail pipes. This is a very rare opportunity to own a complete numbers matching 1968 GTO 400 HO. The car is a beautiful restoration and a great cruiser. It is an older restoration so it shows some minor age, but It has been parked under a garage for its entire life.
