Please see my other auction for a restored GT550J. I purchased this motorcycle as a parts and 'go-by' bike to assist with the restoration of my other GT550J. I did ride the bike before laying it up. The engine ran well and still kicks over fine. It has been stored in a garage and now storage facility since. I have ~4 large totes of spares (too many to list) which complete this bike and possible half another. I have just relocated and do not have the time or space to perform another restoration or my other plan of making it a period café racer. This is a 1972 Indy model, but someone fitted a disc brake from a later model. The mufflers are not dented, albeit one has some battery acid staining. No reserve! On Aug-02-17 at 10:44:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Note: To clarify, the engine ran when laid-up 10 years ago. It kicks over fine and has good compression, but will need a full overhaul, carb cleaning, cables and harnesses reconnecting etc. to get it running again. This is more suited as a restoration or parts bike.
