My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the photos and read our full written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2006 Volkswagen GTI 2.0T with the desirable 6 speed manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this GTI to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The black exterior shines nicely and looks smooth. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific GTI, there are a few deep scratches on the roof. Additionally, there is visible rust on the RF fender and the right outside mirror is missing. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and hatch all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this GTI to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets show well throughout the interior and are not excessively worn. Two sets of floor mats are included. The deeply bolstered sport seats are clean and comfortable. The power windows, locks and mirrors work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system appears to be working fully. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. This GTI comes with two switchblade keys as well as the original owner's manual. Mechanically, this GTI appears to be in good running and driving condition. The turbocharged 2.0L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The sport suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The check engine light was on when I acquired this GTI. The only code stored was a cylinder 1 misfire. In my experience with this GTI, which includes a 60 mile road test and extended idling time, she has ran perfectly. I cleared the code as I don't see anything to suggest that there is an ongoing issue. She hits the road as straight as an arrow. The turbo spools up quickly and makes good power. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the six speed manual transmission are clean and precise, as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This GTI appears to be completely stock and original. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. If paying by Bank Check or Bank Wire Transfer, funds must clear before your vehicle is available for release. We Do Not Accept PayPal or Credit Cards...at all...period. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Non-Paying Bidders will be reported to eBay, blocked from bidding on future auctions and may be referred to our Collection Agency for credit reporting and fee recovery.
