Vehicle Detail
Just so everyone knows this is a relist!! Nick Ryan from Tucson bid in the last 6 seconds so no one else would have the opportunity to bid to beat him and then he did what really disappoints sellers on eBay. He won the bid and never followed through. He would not answer emails and never paid the deposit. It is really frustrating to honest buyers (like most of us) and just screws up the whole process. Most people go through the effort of finding what they want. Do the research to make sure it is the model and correct price. Then they have to make sure they have enough money to follow through. Then they have to sit and watch the auction to put their bids in so they can finally own it. Dickheads like Nick screw everyone out of the chance and should be banned from eBay. He is getting a non-paying bidder and a negative so I am doing my part to help him off the site. I am sorry to the guys who legitimately were bidding and here is another chance. If you follow my auctions you know I have been selling used ATV's on eBay for longer than any other powersports seller and am an avid rider. I had the chance to buy this really nice used CR125 from a friend of mine who had owned it for years. I knew the machine-and knew it was a good one. Also-it has a Ohlins rear shock!!The CR125 has always been one of the best MX bikes and easy to ride. The forums state the 1997 was the best engine and I sure understand why.By Tiki, Posted May 9, 20061997 Was the last powerhouse CR125. OR make your own. 2002 Frame with a 1997 motor.Say that sounds like fun.By punkrock MX, Posted May 9, 2006the last good motor was the 97race teams tried using 95' motors in the alum frames with no luckthe deltabox frame didnt let the bikes have big airboxes, therefore making them kind of sluggish, and i believe that is the reason why the alum framed cr125s have been slow to this dayhowever the, when the cr250 went aluminum it didnt lose any power..just when it went case-reed Go to Thumper talk forum and load best year CR125Super light and a broad powerband for a 125. Nothing is more fun than smoking the big bore bikes around a track on a little bike-and this is the one you could. Like the 1986 MX des Nations team-Johnny O'Mara on a 125! Check out the you tube video (that they won't let me load the link) I love watching this old stuff and it shows how incredible a 125 Honda is! This one just had the top end done about 12 hrs ago. It starts 1st kick and would be a great trail bike or inexpensive bike to take camping. I am listing it with NO RESERVE and a buy it now of only $1795. With new dirt bikes costing close to $10,000 this is a bargain!I am happy to deliver to either Salina, KS or Loveland, CO for free or an extra 100 miles for $100. I can arrange shipping for further distances. Email or call 303.880.3975 with questions.
