Vehicle Detail
The Good. Used as a daily driver and drives well. Highway miles. Four wheel drive and transmission are strong. The upholstery is in good condition, although there is one small tear behind the back seat where you fold it down. The clutch, throw out bearing and rear main seal were replaced a few months ago. Belts and hoses are in good condition. Air is very cold and heat is hot. There is a nice tow package. We believe there are many miles left in it but must sell it due to financial reasons. Buyers are welcome to a test drive before the sale. We purchased the vehicle used several years ago. My husband averages 22-24 mpg but he usually drives around 60 mph. Country roads :) We would not hesitate to drive it across country or take it into the mountains, although we would definitely replace the rear tires first. We are non-smokers. Our daughters dog was in it a couple of times. We forgot to add a photo of the engine but will get one up asap. The title is clear. We can deliver to a buyer in the Lubbock, Amarillo or Dallas area. The Bad. Please look at the photos carefully. There is hail damage, mainly to the hood area. There are many chips and dings all over. The windshield is cracked. We don't mind replacing it before the sale. This was not a mall crawler. We travel on dirt roads to and from our home every day and have taken it into the mountains several times. There is a small crack in the passenger side roof panel from hail that we just tape over but probably could be repaired easily enough. It barely leaks in heavy rain. The license plate holder in back has a hole where a hail stone went through it. There is a small oil leak from the upper oil pan. It uses about half a quart of oil every month or two. The cd/dvd player does not work and never has for us. We use the radio and place the music on the harddrive that is part of the radio. Satellite service worked fine for us as well as the gps. The dvd/cd may simply be disconnected but we don't know for sure. The tires are drivable but need to be replaced soon. The front tires are in better condition than the rear tires and spare. The front bumper has damage. We always intended to replace it with a metal one. The tags expire at the end of July. Please feel free to ask questions.
