1972 Volvo 1800ES daily driver. Lifelong Kentucky car until I recently purchased it. Same owner since early 80's. Car runs well & starts up with no trouble. Transmission shifts smoothly. Good brakes. Dash and dealer installed AC unit are in excellent original condition. Exterior lights all work. Glass is all good. Good tires. Bilstein shocks. IPD aluminum valve cover. IPD four into one header pipe. Car is color code Blue (108) with black interior (448-821). Trunk items such as spare tire, tools, scissor jack, and jack crank rod are all included with car. Spare still has original Good Year tire stamped "Made in Sweden". This week my local shop will be performing a few repairs. They will be replacing exhaust system from the header pipe to the back of car & adding new "sport" tail pipe ends. Replacing all brake hoses. Replacing pan gasket for automatic transmission. Replacing valve cover gasket. Replacing worn out transmission speedometer gear. Replacing worn out rear hatch glass shocks. Remounting AC compressor & idler arm pulley. Adding new belts for fan & AC. Recharging AC system. Removing electric fans and converting back to original set up using parts from my personal inventory. Replacing air filter. Changing oil. Repairing bad connectors on fuel injection harness. Car comes with a automatic transmission which is ideal for any driver that is not comfortable with a manual transmission or has problems with bad legs,hips or feet. If the new owner would like to convert to manual transmission I have a good transmission, driveshaft, flywheel, and foot pedal assembly I can sell. The rest of the parts required for the conversion are available new. Car is in need of paint & body work. Body work required to outer rockers and behind both rear wheels. Forward floor pans need repaired in corners under vent window. Rest of the pans and trunk is very good. Will also need front jack point crossmembers cut out and replaced. All pieces for making repairs are readily available. I have taken nearly 200 detailed pictures of this car from just about every angle. I can send them using Dropbox.
