This is my father's "Daily Driver" that he has had for a little over 10 years and got into running shape. The last three years (Spring, Summer, Fall) we have used it as an occasional ride. Three years prior to that it was in storage. It has passed inspection in April 2017. We decided it is time to pass this fun ride along to someone that would like to continue to enjoy and improve it. The details as I know it: It's a 1979 Base Sport Coupe, 8cylinder, 350ci, 195hp automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive, T-top. It has power windows, power door locks, air conditioning, sport mirrors, cruise control, tilt-telescopic steering column, aluminum wheels, after-market radio w/CD player, power antenna, dual rear speakers. I'll also include a car cover, t-top covers, original owner's manual, Chilton Repair manual, and Corvette Central Assembly Instruction manual. I've been told that the engine has been replaced and is "Non-matching" to the Corvette. This was done prior to my father's purchase. Runs great though. The exterior color is Corvette Red and seems to have been repainted the same at some earlier time. There are a few issues of paint peeling around the rear tail lights and a crack in the fiberglass just behind the right front tire (see pics). The T-tops are not original but found a "close to color" pair on eBay. It also comes with an aftermarket windshield air deflector. I am not much of a "car guy" so for the last 3 years the work to get it running and inspected has been done by a Corvette specialty shop close to home here. Some of the work done includes new brakes, brakelines, new radiator, various front-end alignment parts, headlamp vacuum system, and new 225/70R15S BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires (less than 6000 miles since 6/22/2015).
