Very Nice 1970 VW Beetle Type-1 older correct body off restoration. This is a clean daily driver, not flawless but a very nice car, no short cuts or excuses. Updated engine, electrics, alternator, four-wheel disc brakes, Empi Alloys, Michelin Pilot 195-65R-15 tires, stainless steel heater boxes, aluminum running boards, new dash and upgraded interior. Well over $12,000 invested on restoration and mechanicals with only a few remaining things to make it near perfect. Upgrades and other considerations may include but not necessary, replacing oatmeal carpet with black, replace burlap tweed headliner with off-white, replace intake manifold with stock (which will be included), and replace interior door window scrapers. The Beetle was purchased for my wife's 70th birthday but she cannot drive do to recent stroke, must sellNew York State Inspected ready for a road trip across country ! An exact (red paint) color match aerosol will be also included for any touch ups. The Beetle has new pop-out window seals. Fresh air hoses for the cabin will have to be installed by buyer. Door locks and ignition are newly re-keyed to match, door locks stick but should be replaced. The Beetle has a fresh oil change, fan belt replacement, and New York State INSP.
