We have made the very difficult decision to sell our daughters 64 Impala. Her Grandfather had the car for several years. He could no longer drive it due to illness so he gave it to our daughter who was 14 at the time. She is now 18 and getting ready to leave for college. We hate to sell it but with 6 years of college ahead we just can't keep it and store it for that amount of time. We want someone else to be able to enjoy it the way we and Grandpa did. The car has been mechanically gone through including completely rebuilding the engine and boring it .30 over. It runs perfectly and never hesitates to start. All of the work was done at the local Chevrolet dealership so it was top notch. It has new exhaust, wheels and tires as well as many other items. We do have the original fender skirts and smaller wheels with hubcaps. The odometer reads 29,016 miles, I have no idea if that's correct or what the actual miles are. It isn't perfect and has had some prior body work done to it. This work needs freshened up and it appears most of the work was on the lower portion of the body below the lower body moldings. I have included pictures to show it the best I can. If someone is handy or wanted to spend a little money on it you could have a car that would be a VERY nice 50 plus year old ride. If you want to just drive it the way it is that would work also. We get thumbs up and lots of looks and conversation everywhere we drive it. This car is the perfect way to get into the car hobby as it isn't in need of anything mechanical and the interior is in very good condition. You can drive it home and go cruise or do a little work and have a really rare very nice car.
